What are the Benefits of Coaching?

Michelle did a lot of her coach training with IECL Growth Ops. In 2016 they published the results of a longitudinal study of the benefits of organisational coaching over a 10-year period. In summary they found the top 5 benefits reported were:


1) Increased job engagement
2) Increased confidence/authenticity in the workplace
3) Increased sense of wellbeing
4) Successful goal attainment
5) Increased social capacity

They also looked at what people achieved through coaching; the top 5 achievements reported were:

1) Performance effectiveness
2) Fostering others
3) Influencing others
4) Self-awareness
5) Authenticity
